Tropical Storm Luban: Here's how much rainfall has been recorded in Dhofar

Muscat: A total of 91.4 mm of rainfall has been recorded in the governorate of Dhofar in the last 24 hours, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation announced.
As tropical storm Luban continues to shower the governorate with heavy rains, various wilayats have begun to record high amounts of rainfall. Sadah recorded the highest amount of rainfall with 37.2 mm, followed by Qairoon Hairiti at 11.2 mm, Mirbat with 10.2 mm, and Shalim with 9.0 mm of rainfall.
Thumrait and Taqah also recorded an equal amount of rainfall with 7.0 mm each, while Dhalkut recorded the least amount of rainfall with just 0.8mm in the last 24 hours.
Heavy rain is expected to fall over the governorate over the next two days, according to PACA's recent update on the tropical storm Luban. Shuwaimiya-Hasak coastal road has already been blocked by fallen rocks and mud, as a result of heavy rain in the area, the National Centre for Emergency Management announced.
