Video: Low-lying area of Dhofar evacuated after threat of inundation

Muscat: Police in Sadah in Dhofar have requested citizens and residents in the area to cooperate with evacuation procedures, as Tropical Storm Luban threatens to inundate the area.
In a video, shared on the weather monitoring portal WeatherOmanya, police vehicles in Sadah can be seen calling on citizens and residents to cooperate for the evacuation, due to the proximity of some houses to wadis.
Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance safely transported 205 workers in Sadah to a relief shelter. In a statement online, PACDA said: "The Authority teams in Dhofar governorate carried out an evacuation of 205 employees in the Hasik area in the Wilayat of Sadah, where they were transferred to a shelter in anticipation of any events during the impact of the tropical storm."
