Omanis can now travel visa-free to Iran

Muscat: Omani nationals no longer require a visa or entry stamp to enter Iran, Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
According to the ministry, this decision — which came into effect on October 2 — will mean that Omanis do not need a visa to enter Iran and will no longer need to stamp their passports when they enter or exit the country.
In a statement online, the ministry said: "In accordance with the good relations between Oman and Iran, the relevant authorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran have decided to do away with entry visa to Iran unilaterally for Omani citizens, without printing the entry or exit stamps in the passport, starting from October 2, 2018."
