Animal lovers have their pets blessed in Lima

Dozens of pets got a special blessing at Lima's Saint Francis Monastery on Sunday.

The blessings were given during a special mass for four-legged friends and other pets.

Though all animals are welcome to get a blessing here, Sunday's ceremony went to the dogs.

Some pet owners in Lima bring their furry and feathered friends to this local church to take part in the annual "Blessing of the Animals" mass.
