Supreme Court Chairman holds meeting to discusses judicial affairs

Muscat: Sheikh Dr. Is’haq bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Supreme Court, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council and Chairman of the Administrative Affairs for Judiciary Council at the Supreme Court on Monday held a meeting for the heads of appeals courts and heads of General Assemblies in the presence of Heads of Directorates General at Administrative Affairs for Judiciary.
The meeting discussed judicial and administrative work at the courts and the commissariat entrusted to experts in some cases for which expertise is required.
A unified formula for declarations to facilitate litigants was also discussed. Execution of issued judgments through compliance with the duration legally identified was affirmed.
At the end of the meeting Sheikh Dr. Is’haq urged the heads of appeal courts to exert more effort during the next judicial year and facilitate litigation procedures to approach prompt justice.
