Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge emphatically set a new marathon world record on Sunday with a blistering run in Berlin.
He sliced a staggering 78 seconds off the previous best.
The 33-year-old Olympic champion sprinted through Berlin's Brandenberg Gate to set a time of two hours, one minute and 39 seconds.
That smashed his countryman Dennis Kimetto's record, which had been held since 2014.
