MUSCAT: Oman Swimming Association has held its third regular meeting this year under the chairmanship of Taha bin Sulaiman Al Kishri, chairman of the association.
The meeting reviewed the reports of the national swimming team that participated in the 4th Arab Swimming Championship in Tunisia, and the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia which was held last month.
The reports discussed included the results and evaluation of swimmers along with the technical and administrative bodies and submitted to the Board of Directors.
The meeting also instructed the technical directors of the Association to prepare a detailed work sheet for preparing teams of various age groups including the participation Issa Al Adawi at the next world swimming championships.
The meeting also discussed the committee’s performance during the last quarter and the future training programme of the teams until the end of the year, as well as the activities and progress at the Association’s Swimming Education and Training Center in Muscat Governorate.
The committee also reviewed the developments of the swimming project in the clubs in the governorates, the most important executive steps taken so far, and evaluating the responsiveness, readiness and readiness of the clubs, with a review of the draft list of swimmers' affairs and registration and transfer mechanisms. The Board of Directors in addition to the completion of the rules and criteria for the distribution of swimmers on clubs, where it is expected to publicize the sport of swimming clubs during the next month and activate the system of competition and competitions between clubs gradually.
