Financial and personal data has been stolen from potentially hundreds of thousands of British Airways customers.
It affects those who booked online in recent weeks.
Airline chairman Alex Cruz says criminals got in despite the data being encrypted.
The thefts affected around 380,000 card payments, with personal details "compromised."
