ROP arrest suspect after body found on roadside

Muscat: A body has been found by the side of a road in Rustaq, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

According to the official ROP Twitter feed, "a body has been discovered on the side of a road in the area of Jammah in the Wilayat of Rustaq."

The statement went on to say "the Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations under the command of the South Al Batinah Governorate Police have arrested a suspect."

The ROP added that legal procedures were being carried out.
