​Oman embassy issues statement as Typhoon Jebi hits Japan

Muscat: No Omanis have been injured in Japan as Typhoon Jebi made landfall, the Sultanate's embassy in Tokyo announced on Wednesday.

In a statement online, the embassy said, "The embassy has continued to pay great attention to Typhoon Jebi and contacted Omani students in the affected areas, and did not receive any reports of any injuries."

The embassy also wished safety for the Japanese people and all residents in Japan.
