Oman’s Al Anwar Holdings appoints new CEO

Muscat: Al Anwar Holdings has appointed Khalid Ansari as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a statement by the company read.
According to the statement, Ansari has been a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has over 32 years of work experience in Oman.
The statement read, “We are pleased to inform our shareholders that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr Khalid Ansari as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr Ansari is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has over 32 years of experience working in the Sultanate of Oman. Mr Khalid brings [with him] a very deep and detailed knowledge of the business environment in Oman.
"Mr Khalid will commence his duties from 1 October, 2018," the statement added.
Prior to this, Ansari was a “partner and head of KPMG Oman”. In addition to that, Ansari also advised the Government of Oman on several matters.
