Municipal authorities shut down several shops in Oman

Muscat: Several shops have been shut down by Municipal authorities in the Sultanate’s capital, Muscat Municipality has announced.
Officials said that the shops were shut down due to lack of licences and non-renewal of commercial licences.
An official from Muscat Municipality stated, “The field follow-up department of Muscat Municipality in Seeb has closed down a number of shops in Al Khoud, Rusayl and Al Jafnin for non-renewal of commercial licences, which violates municipal laws and regulations."
