PSC to hold I-Day cricket tournament

MUSCAT: Pakistan Social Club, Muscat Sports Wing will hold an MRI cricket tournament to celebrate the 71st Independence Day of the Republic of Pakistan.
According to the organisers of the tournament the event which will be held at the Al Hail Cricket ground will consist of 16 teams.
Interested teams willing to take part in the tournament will have to register at the earliest as the selection on the number of participating teams will be decided by a draw which will be held on August 29 with the start of the tournament beginning on August 30.
The tournament will include an exhibition match between a combined Pakistan XI and a combined Indian XI comprising of top-players of both nationalities who represent the Oman National Team and top from the Oman Cricket league.
Pakistan Social Club request both communities to attend the exhibition match and support their teams.
