Rains reported in Oman, temperatures set to drop

Muscat: The governorate of Muscat witnessed rainfall this morning and officials at the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) have said that other parts of the Sultanate will witness a drop in temperature too.

The highest temperature forecasted for today is 28 degrees Celsius in the Wilayat of Salalah and 26 degrees Celsius in the Wilayats of Sur and Ibra. While Muscat and Al Buraimi will be 23 degrees Celsius. Jebel Shams will witness the lowest temperature at 10 degrees Celsius.
In a report online PACA officials said, “The weather [predicted] today is clear to partly cloudy skies over the coastal areas of Oman sea with chances of isolated rain.

"Mainly clear skies over the rest of Oman with a chance of low-level clouds or fog patch formations during late night to early morning over south Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah, Dhofar and Al Buraimi Governorates are predicted,” PACA added in the report.
