MUSCAT: Oman Football Association (OFA) held at its premises at Seeb Stadium a meeting with a delegation from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and representatives of CSM, the company which won the tender for the support and management of the event.
The meeting discussed the details of hosting the prize-giving ceremony of the AFC to be held in Muscat on November 28 in the presence of Gianni Infantino, President of the FIFA and chairman of the AFC Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and head of the football federations. The coordination meeting was chaired by OFA Secretary General Said bin Othman Al Balushi.
The prize-giving ceremony of the AFC would be held at Oman Convention and Exhibitions Center in the presence of the representatives of all 47 Asian participating countries and heads of the football associations and president of the FIFA. The event would see the presence of 325 personalities.
The meeting discussed the details of logistics support and broadcasting the event and the programme of the event in the presence of the OFA partners including the government departments such as Royal Oman Police, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Sports Affairs, Muscat Municipality, Oman Air, Oman TV (sports channel) and Muscat Media Group (Al Shabiba Newspaper).
