Forum to discuss sustainability and future of AI

Muscat: Organised by the Information Technology Authority (ITA), The 4.0 Digital Trends Forum will be held on Monday in the Public Authority for Civil Aviation Salalah, under the patronage of Dr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications and the chairman of the ITA’s board of directors.
The event sessions and papers will be delivered by prominent international and local speakers, discussing the automation and future of work with artificial intelligence (AI) and AI sustainability as well as highlighting the new emerging technologies offered by 4.0 industrial revolution.
The forum targets public and private organisations, academics, decision makers and ICT specialists and enthusiasts.
The forum aims at sharing information and updates about the latest trends in information, communications and technology (ICT) as well as creating a common networking platform for professionals and people interested in ICT. It also seeks to support Omani IT enthusiasts and specialists to get introduced to the latest developments in the area along with helping to find solutions to the challenges faced by Omani IT specialists and To be ready for the future technologies.
This forum is organised as part of ITA’s efforts in realising the objectives of e.oman strategy to transfer Oman into a knowledge based society and bridging digital illiteracy.
