Two California wildfires have merged, creating the largest blaze in the state's history.

The Mendocino Complex Fire is raging across more than 443 square miles, breaking the record set by last year's Thomas fire.

It's made of two smaller fires that merged on Monday night and shows no signs of slowing.

Weather experts say that with gusty winds and scorching temperatures there's little chance for a break in the coming days.
