Cafe-turned-nightclub patrons arrested in Muscat police raid

Muscat: Police and the municipal authorities raided a cafe and arrested its customers for "turning the cafe into a discotheque" without permission in Muscat, according to a statement from Royal Oman Police.
"Muscat Governorate police and special task force, in cooperation with Muscat Municipality, raided a cafe in Al Mabella in Wilayat of Seeb at dawn today. Police arrested those present in the coffee shop of both sexes for turning the cafe into a discotheque without a license, and committing acts contrary to morality and against public morals," ROP said in a statement on Friday.
