Vehicle in Oman catches fire

Muscat: A vehicle went up in flames in the Wilayat of Al Amerat, Muscat Governorate, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.

No injuries were recorded in the incident and officials added that the vehicle was parked in front of a house when it caught fire.

In a statement online PACDA said, ”Firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department at Muscat Governorate dealt with a fire that broke out in a parked vehicle in front of a house in the Wilayat of Al Amerat. The fire did not result in injuries.”

The General Authority has called for the inspection of all vehicles and has urged people to keep a fire extinguisher in their vehicles.
