Football: Minister of sports affairs meets OFA, sports clubs

MUSCAT: Sheikh Sa'ad bin Mohammed Al Mardhouf Al Sa'adi, Minister of Sports Affairs today met at his office with Salim bin Said Al Wahibi, Chairman of Oman Football Association (OFA) and chairmen of sports clubs. The meeting is part of the continuous coordination and cooperation between the ministry, OFA and sports clubs. The meeting reviewed a number of issues of common interest including the OFA development plans, competitions, tournaments and how to assess them. The meeting also discussed the sports clubs' request to hold extraordinary general assembly meeting. The minister of sports affairs highlighted the efforts made by OFA management team and chairmen of the sports clubs to achieve the prospective aims of the Omani football, the continuous support for the national team and the upcoming international competitions.
