​More than 1,000 bottles of 'unfit' drinking water destroyed in Oman

Muscat: Samail Municipality has destroyed 1,116 bottles of water that were unsuitable for human consumption.

Al Dhakhiliyah Municipalities said in a statement online: "During a surprise inspection visit to a restaurant, Samail Municipality damaged 1,116 bottles of water (one and a half litres each) that were unsuitable for consumption, and took samples for laboratory testing to verify the validity of 2,280 water bottles that were improperly stored."
