Dust particulate matter covering most of Sultanate

Muscat: A large of amount of dust suspended in the air is currently covering many governorates in the Sultanate, but will soon clear up, Oman's weather department said in a report on Sunday.
"The satellite picture shows the presence of dust with a continued low horizontal visibility between 1,000 metres to 5,000 metres in Al Wusta, Dhofar, Al Dahirah, parts of the Al Dakhiliah and Al Sharqiyah, and the spread of earth plankton over the rest of the states," the Public Authority for Civil Aviation said in its statement.
PACA added: "The dust is expected to recede gradually as the southeast winds blow through the evening and tomorrow."
