Thousands of people have taken part in protests against the Russian government's proposals to raise the pension age.
The government says it wants to raise the pension age from 60 to 65 for men, and from 55 to 63 for women, to help cope with a shrinking workforce. Protesters carried slogans like: "We won't live that long".
