Flat used to illegally cook worker meals in Muscat raided

Muscat: Municipal authorities have raided a residential apartment that was used to illegally store and prepare meals for workers in Amerat.

Muscat Municipality announced: "The Inspection and Food Control Department of Muscat Municipality in Al Amerat, in collaboration with Royal Oman Police, conducted a raid on a residential apartment used to store and prepare meals for workers of a company in unsuitable conditions."

A total of 35 kg of cooked food, 5 tonnes of stored materials and 93 cooking utensils were also seized and destroyed.
