The death toll in western Japan has climbed to more than 100, as rescuers race to find survivors in the deadliest flooding the country has seen in more than a decade.
The region was slammed by torrential rains last week and dozens of people are still missing.
Evacuation orders have been scaled back from the weekend, but nearly 2 million people are still ordered to stay away from their homes.
So far, the death toll has been the worst in flooding since 1983, where 117 people were killed in heavy rains.
