Muscat: Bank Muscat is committed to lend its support to government entities and private corporations to make a mark in digitalisation to create a successful business environment, says an official at the bank.
“We have four corporate branches spread across the country which are especially designed to cater to the requirements of the corporations and big establishments. These branches are equipped with all that is required to be able to provide services like large cash and cheque deposit volumes, account to account transfers, international payments and payroll transactions.
“However, our focus is now to move towards providing digital banking solutions to our corporate clients,” said Tariq Atiq, Deputy General Manager – International Operations & Transaction Banking at Bank Muscat.
He added that this shift to digital banking has immense benefits for corporations and the economy, notably efficiency, cost reduction, accountability, speed and scalability.
The technology focus of the bank is reflected in the largest network of inter-connected branches, payment gateways, cards, merchant services, alternate channels of ATMs, CDMs, online and mobile banking as well as connectivity with utility service providers.
