Oman weather: Rain expected from Thursday for three days

Muscat: Rain is expected in Oman from Thursday evening for three days, according to Oman meteorology department’s latest advisory.

“An upper air trough over the Sultanate will result in rain, thundershowers, fresh wind and hail,” the meteorology department said in its statement.

Meanwhile, the public authority for civil aviation (PACA) has advised people to remain cautious during rain and avoid crossing wadis and low-lying areas.

Fishermen and sea goers have also been advised to follow updates from meteorology department before venturing into sea.
