Governor of Dhofar reviews preparation work on tourist sites affected by Mekunu

Salalah: With the Khareef now well underway, His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar has paid a visit to a number of tourism sites across Dhofar to check up on preparations.

Oman TV reported "In an attempt to check up on the projects being carried out by the Dhofar Municipalty across a number of tourist sites, His Excellency Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, visited several such sites that were affected by the recent cyclone."

The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) reported yesterday that the number of visitors to the Khareef as of the end of the 29th of June was 31,818.
