Visitors flock to Dhofar for Khareef

Salalah: The number of visitors to Dhofar for the Khareef season over this initial period has seen an increase from last year.

The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) reported "the number of visitors to the Salalah Khareef as of the end of the 29th of June was 31,818, in comparison to 28,476 visitors over the corresponding period of last year, which is an increase of 11.7 per cent."

"Of these visitors, 63.9 per cent were Omanis, 9.4 percent were Emiratis and 8.4 percent were from elsewhere in the GCC."
