Muscat: A retail expansion costing nearly OMR5 million for City Centre Qurum was announced on Tuesday by Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure developer across the Middle East and North Africa.
The expansion will house Centrepoint, the multi-brand retail concept owned by Landmark Group, as well as additional car parking spaces.
The expansion project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2016, will add 3150sqm of incremental leasable area to accommodate Centrepoint as a new anchor store, which will include Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, and Shoe Mart. The expansion will be built at the ground level of the mall in the existing parking space, and a new car park structure is being built to accommodate 160 additional vehicles.
“We are excited to welcome Centrepoint to City Centre Qurum - a fantastic opportunity for us to better serve our loyal shoppers and to entice more customers to visit the mall.
