Muscat: Temperatures are set to rise further in several parts of the country in the coming three days, according to a warning from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) at Oman's Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
In a statement online, DGM said: "Expectation of a marked rise in temperatures in the next three days, especially on the desert areas, according to the Omani numerical (weather) models."

Muscat: 44 degrees Celsius
Sohar: 40 degrees Celsius
Buraimi: 45 degrees Celsius
Nizwa: 45 degrees Celsius
Rustaq: 46 degrees Celsius
Sur: 45 degrees Celsius
Ibri: 47 degrees Celsius
Salalah: 31 degrees Celsius
