Several arrests after gunshots fired to celebrate Eid

A group of locals were arrested after videos of them firing gunshots in celebration of Eid surfaced online

In a Twitter post, the ROP said, "In reference to social media videos showing a number of people firing shots in the air in celebration of Eid Al Fitr, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation has successfully arrested the culprits and has taken legal action against them."

The police call on citizens and residents not to commit such illegal actions.
