House goes up in flames in Oman

Muscat: A house fire has been brought under control by firefighters from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

According to officials, the house is a female students' residential house and is located in Al Khuwair. The officials also revealed that no one was hurt in the incident.

In a statement online PACDA said, "Firefighter teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance of Bausher Centre in Muscat governorate, managed to control a fire at a female students' residential house in Al Khuwair. A hydraulic crane was used in the rescue operation. No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.”
