Muscat: Royal Cavalry’s filly Princess Marwan won the Gold Champion title at the Arabian Show held in Texas, United States, under the supervision of international performer Micheal Bite.
Brigadier General Abdulrazak Al Shahwarzi, commander of Royal Cavalry, said that the win qualified Princess Marwan for the US National Championship, to be held next October.
The filly is a pure degree descendant: the daughter of Marwan Al Shaqab, a legend of show horses, who won many world-stage positions, and of Princess Aliya, owned by Royal Cavalry, who also won many titles.
The two-year-old Princess Marwan is bred by Royal Cavalry. Recently, it won the title of Silver Champion of Arabian breeders (show horses), in US.
