Oman national football team cheerleader Al Mukhaini passes away

Muscat: The Oman national football team’s famous cheerleader Hamad Al Mukhaini passed away on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
His son, Mohamad Al Mukhaini, a TV presenter, confirmed his death in a tweet, saying, "My father just passed away. He will be laid to rest after Tarawih prayer in Khadra Al Rashid village in the wilayat of Suwaiq."
Al Mukhaini was a renowned cheerleader who suffered from an illness in the last few years of his life. He attended almost every national football team match. His famous song "And its emblem two swords and the khanjar is Omani" referring to Oman, is performed at every single match.
