Oman citizen evacuated from Iran

Muscat: Within the care and attention the government of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, accords to citizens, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) responded to a request from the relatives of a female citizen for transporting her from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate.
RAFO operated, on Wednesday, a special flight to Iran onboard which were the relatives of the citizen and a medical crew equipped with the necessary medical apparatuses.

The citizen was transported to the Sultanate for treatment at the Royal Hospital.
The operation of such flights comes within the role and services offered by the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) — along with the other state institutions and departments — to citizens and residents of the Sultanate.
