Salalah Port starts gradual resumption of operation

Muscat: Salalah Port yesterday announced resuming gradual operation in the cargo terminal after completion of the assessment of the damages caused by the Mekunu in the Governorate of Dhofar.
Mohammed bin Ofait Al Ma’shani, Director General of Corporate Affairs in Salalah Port said he expected the first container ship to arrive in the port on June 1, 2018, after the terminal resumes operations.
He added that the Port Management is continuing its efforts to complete the rest of the facilities as soon as possible in order to restore services to normalcy.
