Building collapses in central Salalah

Muscat: Part of an old building collapsed in Dhofar Governorate capital Salalah, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance announced online.
However, the building had already bee evacuated and there were no cases of people trapped or injured.
"The search and rescue teams of the Authority rushed to a report of collapse in part of an old building that had two floors in central Salalah area of Dhofar governorate. The building was evacuated and rescue teams confirmed that there were no people trapped, and no loss of life or injuries resulted from the incident," PACDA said online.
