Oman cricket: Assarain, Muscat CT record victories

Muscat: Assarain eased to a seven-wicket victory over Al Turki in a Muscat Pharmacy and Stores-sponsored Premier Division match at the Ministry of Sports Affairs ground on Saturday.

Batting first, Al Turki scored 91 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Twinkle Bhandari top scored with 34. Ahmed Raza and Kaleem Ullah claimed two wickets each for Assarain. In reply, Assarain scored 93 for three in 13.5 overs. Zeeshan Maqsood and Arun Poulose scored 27 and 22 respectively.

In another Premier Division match, Muscat CT defeated Enhance CT by seven wickets.

In reply, Muscat CT scored 231 for three in 34.2 overs. Aman Sharma and Jatinder Singh scored 100 and 68 not out respectively.
