Vuclip partners with Omantel to provide video services

Muscat: Vuclip, a PCCW Media Company and the leading premium video-on-demand service provider for emerging markets, and Omantel, the country’s first telecommunications company, have partnered. Vuclip will provide Viu, its leading OTT video service, to Omantel mobile customers across the country.
The partnership comes as part of Viu’s expansion into the Middle East market. Through this association, Omantel will provide its mobile customers access to localised regional and local premium TV shows, movies and Viu Originals through the Viu app on mobile for 200 baisas (OMR0.2) per day.
The video content is tailored for both local and expat customers and is available in several languages, including Arabic, Hindi, English and Tagalog.
