119 people arrested on charges of theft

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested 119 people in April on charges of theft, police officials announced.
Officials said that the individuals were involved in more than 150 crimes.
In a statement online, ROP said, "119 individuals were involved in 158 theft-related crimes around the Sultanate. The police praises the cooperation of citizens and residents in the detection of these crimes, stressing at the same time the need to take the necessary precautions to secure their property."
