Muscat: Municipal authorities in Muscat Governorate have lit up a 1.6 km road in Amerat.
Muscat Municipality, represented by the Department of Lighting at the Directorate General of Projects, started the operation of the first phase of the lighting of the internal roads in the highlands of Al-Amerat on Monday.
"The lights will cover a total length of 1,600 m, and 40 columns have been installed," Muscat Municipality said.
The second phase will begin next month, and will cover 1,500 m of road.
