Ministry organises event for children with special needs

Muscat: Students from 23 schools in Oman participated in a special education event organised by the Ministry of Education to help children with special needs overcome the obstacles they face.
The two-day event was held at Al Saad International School with approximately 200 students from around Oman in attendance. The event was organised to stimulate and motivate students who suffer from hearing, mental and visual impairments.
The event also included a wide variety of training workshops for teachers and parents, conducted by special education and learning disability experts.
