NBC signs incubation pacts with four Omani firms

Muscat: In line with its efforts to present a premier platform to support and develop Omani entrepreneurs, the National Business Centre (NBC), under the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), recently signed four incubation pacts with local firms.
The first pact was signed with Nour Al Amal Business Services, which provides cleaning and home maintenance services through the creation of an integrated electronic platform using an application for Android and iPhone mobile phones and a website that served as an intermediary between service providers and customers.
The second company that got incubated at NBC was Recycling Services, a leading provider of comprehensive waste management services in Oman that include collecting, sorting and exporting waste material for recycling such as paper, plastic and metal.
The third pact was signed with Shapeable Company, a production design and development company that created high efficiency, low cost and relevant to market solutions for clients. The company offers ideation and concept development, R/D, product development, 3D CAD design, industrial design, product design and modelling.
NBC also signed a pact with Savannah Restaurant, which specialised in African cuisine and catering for parties and events.
The NBC is an initiative launched by the PEIE at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas into growing ventures.
The centre provides business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office spaces, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
