65 illegal migrants deported from Oman

Muscat: A total of 33 illegal migrants were arrested, while 65 were deported last week by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
According to statistics released by the Directorate of Combating Infiltration in the Directorate General of Operations, “Last week, in cooperation with other military and security authorities, 33 infiltrators of different nationalities were arrested in several states in the Sultanate, for entering the country illegally.”
Additionally, 65 illegal migrants were deported after the necessary legal measures were taken after coordinating with the concerned embassies.
During the last week of April, ROP arrested 64 illegal migrants were arrested and deported 60 others.
