Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, in a statement to Oman News Agency and the Public Authority for Radio and Television, described the joint meeting as fruitful and constructive, adding that the meeting gave a clear picture on the issues of concern to the members of the two councils.
There are other committees which would tour the various governorates to get acquainted with the issues of concern in the governorates, he said.
Sayyid Fahd praised the comprehensive development witnessed in the Sultanate and expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by Oman’s media. He said that “we are proud of the Omani media which has received the appreciation of all”.
Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court said that the meeting reflected the Royal thought of His Majesty the Sultan. He said that the meeting serves the development march in the Sultanate and provides the members with the opportunity to discuss all that serves development.
Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council said that the meeting between the members of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Oman reflected the keenness of the Government of Oman for cooperation among the these councils for the interest of citizens and the country.
Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura said that the council was driven by the vision of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
He also praised such meetings which he said reflected the cooperation and integration between the Council of Ministers and the Council of Oman.
