Here's how municipalities across Oman are celebrating Labour Day

Muscat: Government agencies throughout the Sultanate have been celebrating the World Labour Day with various activities for its employees.
International Labour Day falls on May 1 every year, and the celebrations are aimed at honouring workers, with a number of events, activities, and sports competitions having been scheduled for today.
Muscat Municipality has organised a ceremony at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, with games such as tug-of-war and volleyball for its employees. In cooperation with Apollo Hospital, the municipality has also conducted free tests for blood pressure, diabetes, height, and weight for its workers.
Other municipalities such as Yanqul and Al Sharqiyah South, have awarded a number its workers in recognition of their dedicated efforts and dedication to their work.
