Workshop on new Omani Penal Code held

Muscat: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) recently organised a workshop on the new Omani Penal Code to disseminate awareness among employees on provisions related to everyday life.
The workshop was moderated by Ahmed Al Abri of the Arab Institute for Legal Studies, who elaborated on the updated Penal Code, which was promulgated by Royal Decree 7/2018 and came into force with new punishments for various offences.
This workshop is part of a series held by PEIE in coordination with various bodies to disseminate awareness on various subjects of importance to employees.
