Whatsapp adds bold, italic and strikethrough texts

Muscat: iOS and Android users can now bold text, italicise it, and strike through it in Whatsapp chats.

To bold text, you just need to add asterisks (*) either side, e.g. *Times of Oman*.

To italicise, add underscores (–), e.g. _italics_, and to strikethrough, add tildes (~), e.g. ~Times of Oman~.
