Ministry of health honours two Omani students

Muscat: The Ministry of Health honoured two Omani students, Amira Al Abri and Ishar Al Malki, for recently winning a gold medal at the 46th Geneva Exhibition of Inventions.
Amira and Ishar, two medical students from the University of Nizwa, won a gold medal for inventing a device to help the elderly and those with disabilities easily monitor blood sugar levels.
In a statement online the Ministry said, "H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid Al Saidi, Minister of Health, received on Wednesday the following: Amira Al Abri and Ishar Al Malki, both students at the Nizwa University on the occasion of their recent victory [at the 46th Geneva Exhibition of Inventions, where they won] the gold medal."
In the meeting, the Minister of Health expressed the Ministry's pride and special appreciation for the students who represented the Sultanate in the international competition.
